A copper disc is formed into a concave shape, enameled and finished to a textured, stone like surface, then set into another concave disc to form a lentil shaped piece. The leather choker slides through the back of the pendant.

I combine the enamel with a chemical to force bubbles or faults to occur while fired in the kiln. This firing process is somewhat unpredictable and produces a rough, uneven surface. I smooth the surface by hand with abrasive stones and sandpaper to reveal the reaction which has occurred.
