Anomalous ; deviating from what is standard, normal or expected.

From the New Normal series of paintings I made in response to the shift in everyday routines and focus with the arrival of pandemic sensibilities. I chose colors from my palette of new and vintage enamels that would play off one another in contrast and compatibility.

Multiple layers of sifted enamel are each kiln fired onto a fold formed copper sheet (approx. 3x3 inches) and mounted on a 4x4 inch wood panel (black finish) with a sawtooth hanger.
